Here are some shots of Nam Yang Martial Arts Association students training.
All levels are catered for; beginners are not expected to take blows nor
will they go home bruised whilst advanced students are given training to
raise their standard and push their personal limits. We pride ourselves
on knowing the level of our people and giving them training that is suitable
for them.

Conditioning is a prerequisite for anyone who practices martial arts; without
toughening the hands it is impossible to deliver a powerful blow without
injuring oneself. Here student toghen the hands with the use of Chinese
Medicine and stone filled bags

Sum Chien is the most vital form. It's name means Three Wars and only after
mastering it can one really benefit from learning further forms

Martial Arts are suitable for students of all ages and here young and old
perform Sum Chien as part of Chinese New Year celebrations

Later forms are fast moving and cover powerful techniques
More Sum Chien - it is the key to the internal arts

Correct stance is of vital importance. You can look a right poser kicking
and punching but if you ever have to do it for real and you've neglected
your stance you'll look a right fool when you fall over

Shaolin Kung Fu has techniques for many situations - from breaking out
of holds to striking and subduing
